Mrs. Jill Weier
Music

Mrs. Weier received her Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in choral music from Pacific Lutheran University and her Master of Education from Western Washington University. She taught elementary vocal and general music for twenty years in the state of Washington before moving to Oregon in the summer of 2006. Mrs. Weier directed several musical plays in Washington with her fifth and sixth grade choirs, including full-length performances of "The Wizard of Oz," "The Music Man" and Rodger's and Hammerstein's "Cinderella."

Mrs. Weier is an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe with PLU's Choir of the West during her undergraduate years. She sang with The Bainbridge Chorale from 1998 through 2005 and currently is a member of the Bravo Vancouver Chorale.

In her spare time, Mrs. Weier loves to travel. Her favorite destination is Venice, Italy, where she and her husband spent a month last summer. She also enjoys attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland each year. Her hobbies include reading, swimming and enjoying every bit of sunshine available here in the Pacific Northwest.
